Synchrony Financial Credit Card Complaint

Billing statement

Synchrony Financial Credit card department,

Billing statement Georgia

I have an - - - Synchrony credit card. I have been paying it every month around the same time. Apparently, sometimes the payment would end up in the same billing cycle and synchrony would send me a late fee for paying a few days early. Telling me that I was late when I was not. Making me call to have address the issue and having the fee removed. This has happened multiple times and when I called each rep provides different dates to apply my payment so this would not happen. Last month I called and this issue was told to pay at the end of the month. So that was what I prepared my lself to do until I received a call today saying I owe - or - some dollars for missing payments and a late fee. I asked the rep why and they told me it is because I was late. The payment was applied to the last month. Hence, I needed to pay for last, this month, and the late fee. I explained that was not fair and I needed that month to pay other bills. Then, they removed one month payment and decided I needed to pay the late fee because technical I was late. I dont believe I should pay a late fee for being early and that late fees should be for those you are actually behind on their bill not ahead. No other credit card I have does this only this one. And they believe they are following the credit card act of 2010 because they are using the billing cycle that I am not falling into when they cash my check for my payment. That is what the account manager told me today.
