On - - I performed a mobile deposit of a $500.00 money order into my Wells Fargo account. The money order was - legit and not fraudulent, but for some reason Wells Fargo considered it fake and a few days later issued a return on the $500.00 money order deposit. I thought that was unusual because, as I said before, I knew the money order was real and I had the receipt the prove it. In fact, after Wells Fargo denied the deposit of the $500.00 money order, I was forced to deposit it into another checking account at another institution and I faced no issue whatsoever. After a few days a bill I tried to pay through my Wells Fargo account was denied. I called in and was told that there was a " hard hold '' on my account because of this $500.00 money order that Wells Fargo thought was fraudulent. I explained to the


for a resolution. Well today marked about 72 hours since that call. I called back and was transferred to Loss Prevention and told the same thing - my check was fraudulent ( even though its not ), my account was on a hold, oh and now it might be closed and I would be barred from banking with Wells Fargo ever again. I have been a customer of Wells Fargo for about 20 years. I had an account opened when I was a pre-teen back when it was known as Wachovia. I have several mortgages through Wells Fargo, and I have been a loyal customer. I have NEVER done anything fraudulent with my account, and I am - certain this money order is not fraudulent. To be told that my account is going to be closed over an incorrect assumption on Wells Fargo 's part is infuriating, and terrible service to be quite honest. I am being treated like a criminal and at risk of having this account ( which I a co-signed on with another person ) closed down. This is the account I use to pay my mortgage from! Why on earth would I deposit a fraudulent check? I have received no help. For the most part I just want to get in touch with whoever is actually handling this case of mine so I can send them directly the receipt I have to prove this money order is real. I do n't want to sit back and wait and just all of a sudden find out my account is closed, all the while not having access to more than $5000.00 of MY money. I want this resolved now.
