I received the attached advertisement in the mail. I did not solicit anyone for a loan. I called the number to stop receiving offers. The recording said they would need my 'Social Security Number '' in order to take my name permanently from their records. It is obvious that this is a scam to get people 's social security numbers. Additionally, the amount of interest equates to 92.52 % per year. I am pretty sure that is illegal. ( I have scratched out my info on the check so it can not be used )
