While visiting the Wells Fargo Bank, a banker offered me a credit card, according to what he read from the bank site, I was eligible for a card with an APR of 8 %, with 0 % rate for 15 months, I agreed on the condition that my rate would be 8 %. When I received the card, it had a rate of 21.4 % after the promotional period. I contacted customer service by phone, when I told the representative about it, she urged me to go into Wells and see the banker, have him call in and it would be honored ; however, I went in, the banker called in, but Wells was not willing to honor the rate. I feel that it was discrimination, as - are often given higher rates, despite their credit scores.
