Every time I try to use my Paypal account to purchase items on Ebay the process is hit and miss. Most times the payment is " declined '' and I am told to contact Paypal. I call Paypal and they tell me my account is fine, but the " security system '' is not allowing the transaction. I provide answers to what addresses I have lived in 20 years ago, cars I have owned, etc, this is still not good enough apparently. I receive multiple text messages and phone calls during some transactions and put in codes, this is not good enough. I just want to be able to use my Paypal account as some merchants only allow payment by Paypal, and further, eBay gift cards can only be processed by Paypal. I have called numerous times each week, sometimes on the phone for an hour or more to be told the " security system '' is holding me up, there is nothing that can be done, try again in 24 hours. I try later as directed, however some auctions or rebates have then expired, and it works sometimes, most often it is the same problem. I just want to be able to use my own money to make a payment without being denied. I have done nothing wrong and if Paypal has such stringent security requirements they ca n't let the owner use their own account this is unacceptable. This is especially concerning when most purchases only use Paypal as a checkout option.
