I have a bank account at SunTrust that I opened last year. It has a mandatory minimum of $500.00, or a $ - monthly fee occurs, unless a direct deposit occurs to the account. I have been out of work for a number of months and I have had to use money from this account so the balance has gone below $500.00. As I have no job, there have been no direct deposits. A fee was charged to me last month and will continue to be till I find a job or replenish the $500.00, which I ca n't till I get a job.
