I have a SFR as an investment property. I refinanced it in 2012. I obtained the refinance through a broker. ( In fact when we signed our mortgage papers we signed a document requesting that WE PAY ALL FEES DIRECTLY. That was not honored ) It was sold to - Bank who serviced it from - and then sold to PNC Mortgage who has been servicing it to this date. I requested that they cancel my impound account which they agreed to but they want to charge me $250.00 to close the account. I do n't remember agreeing to this. Is this legal?
