On - 2016 I made an attempt to rent a washer and dryer from a company - - - - recommended by an apartment community manager. The machines were not suitable for use when delivered and the delivery person damaged a wall and floor in my home and as a result I attempted to seek payment for the damages as well as make arrangements to have the machines replaced. The delivery of the replacement machines were delayed several times and ultimately this delay resulted in me cancelling the order and requesting a refund and that the company pick up the machines that had been delivered. When the refund was not immediately returned I filed a complaint with the - on -. After the complaint was filed with the - I received a refund and the machines were removed from the apartment. I received email confirmation from a representative from the Appliance Rental company on -. On - - I received a letter dated - -, 2016 from a collection agency stating this Appliance Rental company had turned over a collection of $40.00 to them. This debt is a false claim from a company that has decided to retaliate because of the - complaint filed.
