Previously I owed - timeshares with my ex-husband. Both are paid except the annual maintenance fees. In the divorce decree, I was awarded - and my ex-husband the other. My ex-husband has not paid the fees on his timeshare and now the company calls me and says I am legal responsible for the past due fees because they ca n't contact him. When I told them I was no longer responsible and it was spelled out in the divorce decree, the company apologized and asked me to send a copy of the decree. I sent it and provided the husband 's phone number. A few days past and the company called again stating they could not contact my husband so I am still liable because the divorce decree does not supersede their contact. I again advised I am not legally responsible and they should call my ex-husband. I have asked them repeatedly not to call me and they continue to do so on my home and cell phone. I believe they have also reported this debt on my credit report ( I am obtaining a copy to verify ). My credit score has dropped and all my bills are paid on time. I am feel harassed since they continue to call and are not honoring the divorce decree which is a legal document. I have paid all fees associated with the timeshare I was awarded. I want this company to stop harassing me, remove this debt from my report and contact my ex-husband to obtain payment. I believe the tactics of this company are horrible. Please advise how I can stop the harassment from this company.
