Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease California

i have been leasing a mercedes since -/-/2015. I make timely payments withcertified checks and the company keeps reporting me as late and I have sent them proof of payment and they never use it they always state it is returned. Very harassing and poor accuounting skills.
