Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Illinois

I financed a new vehicle in 2012, while having a job of 44 years. I became - and are now receiving SS benefits. With being on a fixed income, medications such as - - and doctor bills, then regular cost of living, housing, etc these very high monthly payments are a struggle. All I 'm asking is to lower my monthly payments, so I have a vehicle for doctors appts, grcery store, church, etc. My finance company refuses to help me.
