IN RE : Westlake Financial Services - Inc. Complaint # : i Dear Investigating Officer, I am writing this letter as a follow-up to complaint #, filed on -, with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I am also filing concurrent complaints with the Arizona -, the Arizona Department -, the - - - - -, and the Arizona Department - - -. In addition, I will be filing complaints with -, the Justice Department, and the Comptroller of the Currency. I have specific complaints about Westlake in the handling of financing for my vehicle, a - Ford Mustang that was purchased through - - in -, Arizona on -. Those complaints include : Westlake placing an illegal lien on my vehicle using a fraudulent contract.


Westlake ordering my vehicle repossessed without just cause, and without a showing of the inability to pay or proof of insolvency. Westlake charging repossession fees and repossessing my vehicle prior to the first payment being due. Westlake charging over $1300.00 worth of interest in a 60-day time period. Westlake demanding and receiving over $22000.00 in repossession fees and interest in an 8 month time period. Westlake employing illegal collection tactics. Westlake failing to provide a proper and full accounting on demand. Westlake failing to stop charging interest when the vehicle was repossessed upon their request and sold. Westlake continuing to charge interest after taking the vehicle and selling it in excess of the legal limits. Westlake failing to return fees and charges in excess of legal limits. Westlake failing to provide copies of the alleged contract on demand. On _____, I went to - - and attempted to " downsize '' my - Ford Mustang, which was paid for in full to - - - - on -. At that time, I made a deal with - - that included the " trade in '' of the - Mustang for a - Mustang. I was told that my trade in value for the - Mustang was $25000.00. I was told that the new Mustang was $22000.00. I should have received approximately $3000.00 back from the dealership. I also was given - for my boss that was the whole reason for the sale of the - mustang I paid off in full two days prior to buying - vehicle from -. - I paid in full - to - - - who was my employer at time -. he had given me - to help pay off the - mustang .- informed me he needed the money back the following day. In order to keep credit score from falling I paid off -. I had gotten a loan from - through - 78 days prior to its repossession on - - - in which - miss informed me of contract pay date saying 90 days till first payment which would n't have beed due till -/-/-. I feel be ford intentionally has mis lead me on - different occasion to gain moneys un lawfully. They stole my rebates on - mustang sticker price was --5.1 % interest My total due was - on paying off loan .doesnt add up. - - was suppose to give me - for - mustang with -.cash In exchange for - mustang which sticker was - Which should of left - to me for over pay and - for - no one in their right mind would have paid off all that money then to have a loan for a cheeper car they mislead me to belive it was a sale straight ACROSS AND MONEY BACK TOTALLING - DOLLAR. There was never suppose to be a loan for that money on contract from west lake. On - - the - mustang was impounded for me not having license. - failure to put transfer of title to -
