MY personnel information was used to secure a student loan from - - by my son without my knowledge or permission, he is now in default and Naviant, who took over for - -, wants me to pay. I filed charges against my son for fraud sent all of the information to prove that the loan was fraud. They refuse to accept that this was fraud. I have sent them a cease and desist letter and told them if they think that I owe them anything to take me to court, they refuse to take this matter to court. They or other collection companies that work for them are harrassing me with calls and reporting to the credit reporting agencies that I am in default when I owe them nothing. If I could find a lawyer that would repersent me I would file a law suit. But lawyers only work for the wealth poor folk like me have no one to help us.
