I attempted to get a credit report for my mother, and I believed that the cost would only be $1.00, as advertised on their website. Instead, they added me to a monthly membership that cost me $22.00 per month for several months. I contacted Experian about a refund, but they said that all sales were nonrefundable. I wish Experian would be forthright with their advertising and explicit about the fact that receiving their credit report will enter me into a membership program.
