Checking account Problems caused by my funds being low Ohio

Chase is charging me overdraft fees for debit card items when I opted out of overdraft coverage. My card should be declining for these purchases ( - -, -, and - ( - ). I have been charged overdraft fees because Chase allowed these to go through when I did not have funds available. Other banks such as -, deny these transactions by card as they should when card transactions attempt to come through when funds are not available. This is very unfair of Chase to allow these to post instead of doing a normal card decline with no fee. I could see if these were ACH transactions, but not card transactions.
