I am a - - - - and Veteran. I am applying for a VA loan. However, my estranged husband abused my credit, changing my credit from excellent to poor. - of his accounts is incorrectly listed on my credit report. I filed a dispute to remove an erroneous account from my credit report. The credit provider, - -, provided evidence the account does not belong to me, then proceeded to delete it from my - file, Transunion file, and - file. - and - updated my report immediately. However, Transunion refuses to remove it because they tell me they have 30 days to resolve the dispute. After speaking with - other employees, I was transferred to a supervisor by the name of -, then to his supervisor -, then to her supervisor -. All - employees subordinate to - verified the evidence from - was in my file, -, however said it was not there. I asked to speak to her supervisor, but she refused. Ultimately she offered a 48hr call back, then hung up on me when I asked to speak to that person 's supervisor.


me on hold, she said she was unable to give out that information. I tried to find the information online, but was unable. The bottom line is, the erroneous account belongs to my husband. It is preventing me from getting a VA home loan. My husband abused my credit cards, which caused my excellent credit to be damaged. But the biggest issue precluding the loan is the account in my husband 's name. Transunion has a policy wherein, if multiple disputes are being investigated, they will not update the account until they resolve all the disputes even though the disputes have nothing to do with - another. I would like a remedy in the form of this erroneous account being taken off my report. The customer service at Transition special handling division is deplorable in the special handling branch.
