I learned about this collection agency debt thru my credit report. I received absolutely no prior mail with notice to try to resolve any matter. I looked up the phone number and called them. The person I spoke to was extremely rude from the beginning! He was yelling over the phone and interrupting me before I finish speaking, then HE hung up on me! Very unprofessional and did n't even get anywhere because as I said, he hung up the phone. Did n't even give me his name. I sent them a letter to try and settle the account even tho I truly believed this account was already paid. ( It had previously been in my credit report along with others, I made payments to a collection agency and they removed them all including this same charge. So I thought it was paid ) I still have n't received a response. This is affecting my credit score very negatively.
