Bank of America Debt collection department,

Credit card Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine California

I have been trying since - of 2015 to have this Bank of America debt taken off my credit report. I first contacted portfolio - in - via a credit company asking to have this debt removed because it was not mine. It is being reported on my credit report from this company twice for the same dept in the same amount. In - I made - attempts with a direct call to the company. I was told the first time a Identity theft packet would be mailed to me. I received that packet, filled it out and returned it. A few weeks later after not hearing from them I called them. They said they did not get it. I was told to download one and fax it to them at -. I did that twice. I call them back a week later, they side that did not receive it. I faxed it again, called the next day and they still had not received it. I called them back again the following day hoping they received it but they still did not. I was told they would put it through their system again and send me out another packed to fill out an send in again. All my personal information is floating out there somewhere per there request. I am positive I will incur something negative on my report for their lack of business practices.
