FHA mortgage Credit decision / Underwriting Pennsylvania

I received a home loan modification and made my payments on time. My modification was officially approved and I just received a phone call from Bank of America yesterday letting me know that my modification was approved. The late payments are erroneous. This is also an FHA loan. Now I am not able to get a new mortgage loan because of late payments on my record.
