I opened an online savings account with Discover Bank based on a targeted offer I received in the mail. The offer was to include a $100.00 bonus if I deposited $15000.00 by -/-/15. The bonus was to be credited to my account within 30 days of receiving the required deposit. I opened the account with the deposit of $15000.00 on -/-/15. The deposit was posted to my account on -/-/15. As of today, -/-/15, I have not received the credit that was promised. I called Discover customer service, and they informed me that I have done everything to qualify for the offer but do n't know why I have n't received it. They told me I had to put a ticket in with their marketing department and it would take 4-6 weeks to resolve. Discover Bank seems to be taking an excessive amount of time to post deposits to make interest off of the " float. '' In addition, they are not following through with the bonus offer that customers agree to. These are unacceptable business practices and consumers should be aware.
