I used to have a past due debt with US bank which I settled in full with US bank directly and who deleted this account from my report and resent the collection notice to the collector. Now several years later - - is despirately, agressively and insultingly trying to collect on the debt that has been paid off and cancelled by the original creditor. Is n't this illegal?
