American Express reported a collection account on my personal credit report even though the collection account is not my personal account. The borrower on the subject American Express account is a corporation which is " - - - - -, - '' and has a corporate tax id # of -. Thus, this corporation, and not me individually, is the borrower. Because I am not personally the borrower the reporting information has no reason to reflect on my personal credit report ( My social security number is - ). The corporation is the borrower, not me, and is a separate and distinct legal entity under Florida and Federal law. ( the corporation is a Florida corporation ). The account number that is being reported that belongs tot he corporation is - - - -. For whatever reason the account number that is reflected on the attached statement is different but notice the amount that is stated on the credit report $30000.00, is the same exact amount as on the attached statement. It is in fact the same account.
