In -/-/- of this year, me and my wife became aware that were are victims of identity theft. I have been actively disputing the ( - - outstanding collections that this company is reporting as my debt. Apparently, multiple checks were written to a grocery store -, WA back sometime between - - - - 2010. I have reached out to this company as well as my continued efforts of disputing these accounts as fraud - to no avail. I have submitted my ID on multiple occasions and have directly challenged for the collector to confirm that these are legitimate collections. I have never been to - -, WA, do not know anyone there and have certainly not written any checks at a local grocery store. These accounts continue to adversely affect my credit file ( s ). There is no way that this company has any documentation that would validate these debts as mine!
