My credit card bank checks were stolen from my mailbox. Someone used one of them and cashed at a bank for $14000.00 not associated to the credit card company that issued the checks. That bank processed it even though they held the check but released it after 7 days. The bank then charged another $440.00 check transaction fee. Total damage $15000.00 in credit card fraud. My credit card company has no feature to block any transactions over 'x ' amount of dollars. It could have been prevented if they had this feature
