I 've written 4 letters since - -, 2015 to Midland Credit Management to valid that I owe them. They sent me a computer generated copy someone printed out. No signature! All I 'm saying is I will pay them if they can supply proof I owe them. They ca n't, and they 've had since my first letter to them -/-/- to valid it. What they did instead was notify the - major credit bureaus to change my statues to " Disputed ''. The FDCPA clearly states that they have to stop collection activity if the consumer disputes. This alone is a violation of the law!!! I will not and can not make myself pay someone I do not owe a dime. I understand CONTRACT LAW will protect the consumer. Midland Credit have nothing with my signature on it agreeing to do business with them and they know it. Plus -/-/-, they removed the - accounts from - and -, then turned around and put them back. Please help if you can, because this is hurting my credit.
