LendingTree, Inc Consumer loan department,
Installment loan Shopping for a loan or lease Florida
I received an email from lendingtree.com the website offer to put me in touch with lenders and asked a few basic questions ( what loan was for home improvement '', amount of loan, name, address, dob, phone number and last - of social ) after i hit next I was told they found no qualifying offers. I then get an email from - who said I was denied for credit. Provided my credit score and said I could contact transunion. I never stayed to lending tree that I was allowing my credit to be pulled. By not providing my full social I did not even realize thst could be done. If I knew it would be pulled I would have opted out as I am trying to fix my credit. Also, how can a company send an email with my personal information? They shared my declination and my score. How did the know who they were dealing with? I am now concerned about my credit and my privacy.please advise what I can do.
