ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO, I contacted a camp ground membership and asked how to end my membership ; I followed their instructions and was told that my membership was terminated. I did n't expect any problems and accepted their word for it. About 5 years later, this collection company started calling me numerous times a day, every day. I told them I do not owe this debt. They have persisted for a number of years. Recently, NEARLY 10 YEARS LATER ( AFTER STATUE OF LIMITATIONS HAVE E-PIRED ) they had it put on my credit report ( in 2015 ). It is not a legitimate debt! The statute of limitations expired years ago! And it was illegal for them to attach it to my credit!
