I recently pulled my credit report and found that Jefferson Capital is still reporting on the credit bureaus a debt that was sold to another collection agency and was paid in full to the other collection agency. I contacted Jefferson Capital to advise them that they can no longer report on a debt they are not collecting. They sold my debt to - - - - in - of 2015 yet are still reporting it. The debt was paid in full to - - - and Jefferson Capital is unlawfully reporting it to the credit bureaus despite my request for them to cease.
