Merchant & Professional Collection Agency is reporting to - that I owe $690.00 to them from a debt they bought from the Original Creditor which was - - -. That debt is way past the 7 years from date of last activity or payment to that account. I have disputed with -, but - keeps coming back that they verified '' the debt. Upon repeated requests to Experian on how they verified '', they will not prove how they verified, which is a blatant violation of the FCRA. The debt was mine, but it is way past the 7 year window that it is allowed by federal law to be reported on my credit bureau. I just want it off, not fair that I should be punished for this debt forever. I will take legal action if my complaint here does not get the item removed.
