Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Consumer loan department,
Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease California
I was in a current lease with Mercedes, which was set to end, and I therefore leased a new Mercedes. Unfortunately, the initial ordering of the vehicle was delayed due to the auto being delivered with the wrong options. This led to a series of extensions of the lease on the Mercedes being returned. I was assured that I would not be charged overage miles because of the errors that caused the repeated extensions of the lease. However, when the new car finally arrived Mercedes established a new account, but added the old vehicle to it. The extra mileage was charged to this account and as a result, my car payments were applied to that balance and not the lease payment, as they should have been. This resulted in - erroneous 30-day delinquencies appearing on my credit report.
