This is a debt that resulted from a ride in an ambulance from a hit and run that I did n't authorize. I was grazed by a car but was fine. The ambulance drivers, instead of just checking me out on the scene, handcuffed me to the ambulance and drove me to the hospital where I was checked out and released an hour later with nothing wrong with me. This is how the over - in collections have occurred on my credit report which has jeopardized my ability to get a home loan at the best rate. i have even offered to pay half and share the expense ( even though I should not owe anything ) and was denied.
