I mutually terminated my cable and internet contract with - because of a job move from - to - - - - where they have no coverage. Consequently, - sent me a prepaid - mailing box for me to return their equipment 's with instructions to drop it off at any - store. Which I did and subsequently received a credit from them. However, I recently found out from my bank that there is a collection notice on my credit report from - for un- returned equipment and as a result my mortgage application was turned down. After several phone calls to - - of their staff was able to locate the returned equipment but unfortunately for me the damage has already been done to my credit report just because - failed to do their home work.
