Made payment to GE/-/Synchrony Bank ahead of due date. Due date was -/-/- for $-. Paid online $- on -/-/-. Received an email stating no payment received (-/-/-.) Verified immediately with payment confirmation (-/-/-), my bank (-/-/-) and account online. Payment was received and processed. I called Synchrony Bank (-/-/- @ - est.) Spoke with representative that could not help, except to remove late fee. Asked - for manager. Spoke with Account Manager, - (ID #:- on -/-/- @ - est.) She said the account would be credited the late fee bringing it from past due amount of $- down to $-.


it because you didn't wait for us to issue a statement. I replied, How can you justify that? If you can, I'll pay it but you can't! She said, She has to do it with her credit cards so it's just the laws. I said, Okay, I'll contact the Consumer Agency and see if that is correct because this is wrong. We disconnected the call and I contacted FCPB. I spoke with - (ID#-.) She looked up the laws and could not find in the -/-/- laws what - was talking about. She offered to take my complaint but I chose online so I could attach the documents. Upon further research, I see that statements are generated on the -. Payment was made on - and received by them on the -. Still, it is not right that I pay a penalty for paying the day they issue statements and they get their money the next day. Payment site also states: Please make payment by - It does not stop you from paying before they issue a statement. This is not right!
