The debt collection company MSB Municipal Services Bureau did not respond to my letter of dispute and I also requested them to validate the debt. Instead, they sent me a second notice indicating that they gave me the opportunity to dispute and there was no notification received by their office. After receiving their - notice I called them at - the - representative was very rude and snide when speaking to me, he then put another representative on the line and he admitted that MSB did in fact receive my letter of dispute and request for validation of the debt. The representative then said that because the - letter was already sent that I could no longer dispute nor did they have to validate the debt. My initial dispute and request to validate the debt was completed within the - day time frame allowed by law.
