Apartment complex sent $730.00 to debt collection against me. - had denied apartment managers claim and I was cleared upon move out almost 2 years ago. - decided to still illegally submit debt and not notify me. I received no notice. I found out about this debt yesterday - - 2015 when applying for a new apartment out of state. So I was never given the option to dispute this which is not legal especially with the way it was reported. I would like to take steps to dispute it but also need to be able to get out of staying in a hotel. I need to know if I pay it to clear my credit if I can still dispute it immediately after
