I had an US Airways card with Barclays and have not carried a balance in years. I missed the statement that had my annual fee and they subsequently charged me - late fees and interest on an annual fee and compounded interest on the late fee, this violates Reg Z and CARD Act. They reported me 120 days late and have caused severe damage to my credit report. Again, no purchase was made it was all money compounded on a $75.00 annual fee that came out to $250.00. I have paid this because at the time I did not understand my rights, I want a refund and all late notices removed from my credit.
