Medical Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Kentucky

A company is trying to collection many medical debts which are also listed on my personal credit file. I have requested several times for verification which this company will not furnish a signed authorization allowing medical bills obtain. They just furnish a statement which proves nothing. I asked to validate the numerous listings on my personal credit file and again all I receive is statements. Years ago many years ago I did have a bunch of medical bills but were taken care of years ago. Is n't there laws on validating a debt a collection agency is trying to attempt to collect? I know that every time you go to the doctors and or hospital they have you sign an authorization form. Please help assist me with these. There are a total of - listed on my credit file.
