I received a letter of a debt owed to Lloyd & McDaniel. so I called to see what was the best route to go to repay the debt ( that I 'm still not a hundred percent sure how I got it ). We agreed that I would pay hundred dollars on the - of each month until the total amount was paid. After making the first payment I got a call from human resource at my job about a garnishment from this same company. Thinking there was a mistake I called Lloyd & McDaniel the debt collector to clear the issue up. After being called a liar for fifteen minutes and being reminded that all calls are recorded which I found funny because if they listen to the previous call it would have cleared up this whole situation so I decided to end the call and try back later. I woke up to today to see my bank account had a - balance, so thinking there was a banking error a called them and I found out the company in question was no other than Lloyd & McDaniel. So pretty much they lied to me to get my bank information and withdrew all my funds. It sad because I was going to pay a debt that I 'm still not a hundred percent sure about to keep my credit score high but instead got hustled by a company with no morals.
