Disclosure verification of debt Not given enough info to verify debt Tennessee
In - -/-/2015, I received an alert that a new entry had been made on my credit reports by - - for over $7000.00. When I viewed my report, it only said that the original creditor was - -, but no additional information. Through the credit reporting agencies, I asked to verify the information. Additionally, I researched the company online and located several numbers that either had recordings ( I left messages ) or no answer. I located only - email address and sent an email requesting a copy of the original bill. None ever was received and I had no contact from them. In -, I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They received a response form - - saying that they would contact the original creditor for the bill and forward it to me. It has been over a month since then, and I 've received nothing. To date, I still have no idea what this debt is, when it originated, nor who it is from.
