Originally owed - - Credit Card. At some point they referred to collection or sold to Midland Credit Management who sent me an offer. Their letter said : If we receive $240.00 by -, we will consider your account balance paid ''! I sent check # - for $240.00 on -/-/-/-/ On - -, -/-/2015, they sent me a Statement '' saying thank you for your $240.00 payment ( credited on -/-/-/-/2015, - days before the day they had to receive it by ) but reflecting a balance of $160.00 even though I met all the terms of their offer. Please ensure they correct their records to reflect this account as paid and report the same to all - credit reporting agencies. Their ( - ) Account # is -.
