I was not supposed to be charged this copay at all ; but was due to a clerical error. As I was unaware of the mistake the billing company made and so it was sent to collection. I sent the collection agency a copy of the statute proving I should not have been billed and a letter asking them to verify the information over a month ago. They never replied to me. Instead of removing the information from my credit report as they are required to do un der the FCRA ; they changed the creditor name to N/A. They are also reporting the same - do... |
