I was in a motorcycle accident and had to go get a -. I was not supposed to be charged this copay at all ; but was due to a clerical error. As I was unaware of the mistake the billing company made and so it was sent to collection. I sent the collection agency a copy of the statute proving I should not have been billed and a letter asking them to verify the information over a month ago. They never replied to me. Instead of removing the information from my credit report as they are required to do un der the FCRA ; they changed the creditor name to N/A. They are also reporting the same - dollar copay - times ; each off by a few dollars a few digits in the account '' number they reported. Their - and only motive for doing this is to cause my credit score to drop and to harm me. I am happy to send you copies of the correspondence if this helps in your investigation.
