Fifth Third Financial Corporation Bank account or service deposits and withdrawals November 16, 2016 - I made a $700.00 deposit to 5/3 Bank in - NC on -/-/2016 at - using the night deposit. When I checked my account at - that evening they had not credited my deposit. Yet, they had charged me an overdraft fee at -. My car payment will be drafted out tonight so it will bounce and I will be charged yet another fee. When I called customer service, the lady suggested I go to the branch. I am sorry, but I am not taking off work when they should be checking the night deposit daily. They need to refund these charges and write a bank error letter to my car payment company.... |
Fifth Third Financial Corporation Bank account or service deposits and withdrawals August 3, 2016 - I purchased a money order from USPS the money order how ever got lost in the mail I purchased tracking of the money order also to prove to the bank that it was not cashed the bank denied my claim and since has put my account in a negative balance and is reoccurring overdraft fees and since I get my check direct deposited they are going to take my whole check come Friday. The ATM accepted the $400.00 cash deposit, but did not present a receipt nor did it acknowledge the deposit. The teller then told me they had been having trouble with the ATM and the - technician had just left. I waited for the technician to return, and after an hour, he returned. He confirmed that the $400.00 deposit had been made. The teller called Fifth Third HQ and I was given a " provisional credit '' of $400.00, reportedly until the ATM was balanced. The receipt shows a deposit but the money is n't actually in the account. My car payments and other bills have been affected over this. Friday was the sixth time I 've dealt with this. I 've heard it was a back office problem, a teller issue, new computer system issue, a closing of the day issue. IN the terms and condition it does say your funds are subject to a POSSIBLE hold of up to 10 days. I would think that the bank would be courteous enough to inform you if this hold is occurring on your account or not. They are not. They let me attempt to use the card and be forced to contact them to find out what was going on when the account did not work. When an attempt was made to take care of the overdraft using a second account ( business account ) at the same bank, I was informed they were closed. Fifth Third Bank reported Suspected Fraud Activity on my account to - and -. Due to this injustice I am constantly denied service at any bank. I have continuously informed the Fifth Third Bank that I was not responsible for this fraudulent activity that occurred on my account. A cop came on the scene when I was denouncing bank practice to the Vice President. I was appalled why did the cop appear when I was venting our frustration.
