I never was mailed a bill or able to settle my account which I would have willingly done. This only came to my attention when the debt hit my credit report, 9 months after the collection agency reported they received it. The company stated it was illegal to deletethe account according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and that statement in itself, is actually a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. ... |
