All necessary information was given to the mortgage company. The day of settlement, just hours before we were to sign the papers, the mortgage company backed out. Leaving us with only a week to find somewhere to live. There explanation was that we had a late payment due to me being laid off for 9 months in 2013. Why can a lender do this just hours before settlement. ... |
