Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt is not mine January 22, 2016 - I received a call from Diversified Adjustment Service Inc. indicating they were attempting to collect a debt on a payday loan I never solicited or received. The call was followed by a letter I received on -/-/- ( the letter itself dates to -/-/- ). I called in reply to the letter, and confirmed that in order to dispute it formally, I had to do so in writing, which I did the same day via email. I sent documents in support of my position that I never received any such loan - specifically bank deposit statements from the period in question showing no deposit of any kind for the ... |
