Out of the 2 consumer complaints against PayPal, 0% were disputed by the consumer (i.e. the consumer was not happy with how PayPal responded to their complaint) and 100% were processed in a timely manner. 50% of consumer complaints against PayPal resulted in the consumer receiving monetary compensation (e.g. money, cash reimbursement, etc.) and 0% resulted in non-monetary compensation.

PayPal Debt collection improper contact or sharing of info talked to a third party about my debt October 31, 2015 - A few months ago, I had fallen behind on my bill with PayPal Credit. Within the last few weeks, they contacted my father to try to reach me. From what I had been told by my father, the individual who had called told him that I owed a balance and the amount of said balance. I initially had issues with them calling my phone before - when I was in - over the -/-/-, and now they disclose information to others without my consent? PayPal Debt collection disclosure verification of debt not given enough info to verify debt October 19, 2015 - This complaint is regarding PayPal. They continue to email me collecting on a debt. I have only used PayPal once and it was over 3-4 years ago and since then I 've used my credit cards directly to pay for any purchases. PayPal is collecting on a $130.00 debt that they claim I owe but wants me to provide them my birth date and the last - digits of my SSN before divulging to me what the $130.00 debt represents. I use only - credit cards to make all major purchases and make it a habit to pay it all off when it is due and do not leave any remaining balances. I know that I did not use Pay... |
