ON -/-/15 THEY RECIEVED AND POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT A CHECK FOR $5.00 WHICH WAS THE ARRANGEMENT. SHE WAS SO HOSTILE AND THREATENING THAT I WAS REDUCED TO TEARS. AFTER VERIFYING I HAD IN FACT SENT THE PAYMENT AND THEY HAD RECIEVED THE CHECK I CALLED HER BACK SHE WAS JUST AS RUDE AND HATEFUL THE SECOND TIME AND CONTINUED TO TALK OVER ME AND ARGUE. ... |

It was my debt and I have paid it off. The problem lies in the fact that when I was contacted the first time, the lady said that if I did not pay in 10 days, the debt would hit my credit and they would garnish my paycheck. I called back the next day and verified that they were a collection agency and not the billing department of the hospital that I went to. Upon verification that they were indeed a collection agency, I informed them that I knew my right under federal law and that they were not allowed to report... |
