The hospital made billing errors with insurance co and should not have reported these. They corrected the problem, sent me an email explaining they had contacted collection agency to remove. I also got a letter from the collection agency apologizing and promising to remove negative info. Letter dated -/-/2016. Debt collection cont'd attempts collect debt not owed debt was paid May 29, 2015 - I paid this medical account in full with the original creditor ( - - University - - - ) and I was assured that the collections entry were going to be removed completely from all credit bureaus. The collection agency is refusing to remove the entry after a full payment was made to the original creditor and the collection agency is reporting the account as a paid collection instead of removing the account as I was told and agreed to.
