July 21, 2016 - - collections from California Business Bureau are on my credit reports. The hospital made billing errors with insurance co and should not have reported these. They corrected the problem, sent me an email explaining they had contacted collection agency to remove. I also got a letter from the collection agency apologizing and promising to remove negative info. Letter dated -/-/2016. May 29, 2015 - I paid this medical account in full with the original creditor ( - - University - - - ) and I was assured that the collections entry were going to be removed completely from all credit bureaus. The collection agency is refusing to remove the entry after a full payment was made to the original creditor and the collection agency is reporting the account as a paid collection instead of removing the account as I was told and agreed to.
