Messerli & Kramer P.A. Debt collection department,
I do not know Written notification about debt Didn't receive notice of right to dispute Minnesota
The law firm of Messerli & Kramer has, over the past 18 years, captured my money several times for a debt they allege, but has not proved, I created in -. In -, Messerli & Kramer law firm, acting on behalf of - - -, apparently obtained a judgment against me, without providing me notice, for this account they alleged I opened in -. This same year, the law firm acting on behalf of the debt collection agency then captured an account for this debt ; one of which, I shared with my parents. I was on the account due to them both being ill and unable to care for their financial affairs. I sought help in -, from the Minnesota Attorney Generals office, which resulted in Messerli & Kramer/ - - - returning the money to my parents account. Because of lack of knowledge on laws about debt collection, getting my parents money returned was the only action I took.
dire financial hardship. As a result, my family had to find monies to get basic needs and other daily living items to continue to move forward. Again, I sought assistance from the MN Attorney General office. While I worked on providing Messerli & Kramer with proof of my familys financial situations, the MN AG office assisted me by writing a letter to the law firm on my behalf requesting information about the debt. The agencys response was not expected because they could not provide the original application ; nor, did the law firm provide any solid evidence that this debt belonged to me. I am tired of being frighten about the next time this big law firm decides it can capture my limited financial means. I can barely afford to take care of my family and I certainly can/do not want to continue to pay for a debt that is not mine.
